Fiber Blanket

Fiber Blanket

The fiber blanket is made using a specially reinforced needling process, free from any binders or other components. This process enhances the interlocking of fibers and improves the blanket's resistance to delamination while maintaining its flexibility and providing good tensile strength. It is easy to install, greatly accelerating furnace lining construction. The product is resistant to most chemicals except hydrofluoric acid, phosphoric acid, and strong alkalis.

Overview

Fiber blankets are made by a specially enhanced needle - punching process. The classification temperature ranges from 1200°C to 1600°C.

Product nature

Low slag ball content, pure white color, high raw material purity, high temperature resistance, good thermal stability, low thermal conductivity, small thermal shrinkage at high temperatures, stable chemical properties, strong corrosion resistance, uniform fiber diameter, high tensile strength.

Furnace lining and insulation use

Fiber Blanket is used for flexible furnace insulation, backup lining layers, furnace door seals and kiln car insulation.
